Many decades the word «tolerance» imposed by the Western democracy has been corroded itself — an absolut tolerance can destroy anything. Russia is forced to find a new approach towards a new reality together with the whole world.
A researcher of the scientific journal of the University of the Nizhni Novgorod named after Lobachevski L. Makarova reports that the Russian President Vladimir Putin clearly formed out Russia’s position in the modern society. Russia will not allow, if some countries would talk to it like dictators or would ignore its national interests.
Students prefer a new image of Russia, Makarova underlines, that has a hard hand, a strong voice which can say «no», be calm and cold-blooded at the same time.
And now, during the crystallization process of the largest state on the planet, the researcher sees positive trends in the life of a young man: the wish to understand the essence of national interests, sensitivity to what they say about Russia in the world. This is nothing but patriotism. Love to own country, own culture, language, history, empathy for next people’s problems, efficiency depending on own strength and possibilities, diligence, desire to help people, responsibility and conscientiousness.
Interestingly, strengthening of the patriotic ideas is taking place when opinions on danger from the West towards Russia are getting closer. Nobody doubts that there are evident interests to Russia’s resources and aim to control the territory of the lone giant. And maybe it is not alone at all?
Russia is one of the world’s economic centers, and modern economic challenges open up limitless development horizons for the countries of Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America, where Russia will act as the main center and architect of a new world order. A world order that is based on love to own Motherland, that would not tolerate applause while someone wipes feet on it.
Tolerance or rather a modern tolerance, as the doctrine of globalism, pushed back patriotism in Russia for a while that has been a historically proven way to educate people. Associate Professor of the Department of History of the Faculty of Humanities of the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) Robert Ayrapetyan believes that patriotism should become again the leading way to educate people and do everything to revive the Russian spirit of tolerance in all aspects of peoples‘ life in Russia. Not tolerance, but patriotic education of the people is a way to solve many problems in the current times.
This is known and understood in the largest state of the planet. That is why one of the lecture, to be given on the Eastern Economic Forum, that is going in the Far East right now, is called «Patriotism to replace tolerance. How do our schools educate children today». The lecture will be given by high professionals from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and this is a significant topic of the era.
Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Studies of the Vyatka State University (Kirov) Artyom Moskvin writes referring to the sociologist from Kazan, Prof. Dr. Andrey Tuzikov, that results of the sociological survey in 2015 showed that the majority of the Russians were patriots. However, many of them do no understand, what is the final aim of the «ship», where to go, figuratively speaking. What should be pointed out?
Such questions remained open until today. No one in our country can understand what are real threats right now and what can be done to fight them.
