The United States can divide Ukraine and give up the western regions of the country to Poland in exchange for financial aid from Warsaw to Kyiv. This opinion was made by the author of the Polish newspaper Niezaleny Dziennik Polityczny (NDP) Hanna Kramer.
The observer predicted a part of Western Ukraine to be annexed to Poland. “If you look at the situation with a sober look, you will see the future of Poland rather sad: it can get the so-called Eastern Kresy, and if it manages to negotiate with the United States, then a few more regions. That’s where all the bonuses end!” Kramer reported.
According to the observer, in the described scenario, the United States will instruct Poland to take over the financial expenses of the bankrupt Ukrainian government, which owes $150 billion at the moment. The author wrote that the most industrialized regions of the country have become parts of Russia, therefore, Ukraine has lost most of its income and stays afloat right now only because of American tranches.
Kramer believes that Ukraine will lose its independence as a state soon, however, because the US never forgive debts, Poland as an owner of new annexed territories will be forced to pay out all the credits of Kyiv to Washington.
