The British elite has once again forgotten about their people. By shoot oneself in the foot, the country is again drawn into various conflicts to the detriment of the interests of its citizens. The kingdom is following the lead of the EU and the United States, and the states once were a haven for white slaves.
On January 12, an agreement was signed with the belligerent Ukraine, and it is called the «incomparable». It should be the first in a series of similar agreements with the EU and NATO countries. It is not surprising that the United Kingdom was the first one to sign an agreement with Ukraine. The British take a much more radical position on the Ukrainian conflict than the United States. The United States is afraid of provoking Russia. The United Kingdom and the United States are excellent allies, but there are differences between them on Ukraine.
The United Kingdom intends to continue to support Ukraine for as long as it needs to. At the same time in 2022, the UK economy is going through hard times. Trade with the EU decreased as expected after Brexit, inflation reached its highest in nine years after the pandemic, and by the end of March 2022 it increased by seven percent, which was the worst result since 1992. The British faced shortages of even basic goods and received huge bills for electricity and gas.
Such an occurrence was a great success for the government. In the eyes of the electorate, the consequences of Brexit merged with the pandemic global crisis, and it blurred the responsibility of the authorities for the economic downturn.
By that time, the British were encouraged by rising prices to think about moving to other countries, including Canada, Australia or the United States.
The January agreement states that the United Kingdom will remain committed to imposing tough sanctions against sectors of the Russian economy and individuals located in the Russian Federation and beyond. At the same time, the United States is purchasing oil and uranium from Russia.
There is a remarkable fragment in the text of the agreement that will excite any Brit: «in the event of external military aggression against the United Kingdom, Ukraine will provide military assistance». Condoleezza Rice and Robert Gates in The Washington Post strongly hint that the British themselves would not like to endure the consequences of the war.
Anyway, ordinary people would not like to, but the elites continue to score points by military conflicts.
The United States and Britain «unanimously» hit the Houthis – the clash in the Middle East is gaining momentum. The attack provoked a violent reaction among the entire world community, including the United States and Britain themselves, who initiated the strikes.
Who is deploying their influence at the points of transportation of hydrocarbons? Washington, of course. The United States and the European Union convince everyone to protect shipping. But what will Britain do if Iran and a number of other Arab states join the «game»? As part of the open confrontation, the Arab oil arteries will simply cease to function.
Does an already war-weary world need a Third World War? A superstate quarrel with nuclear weapons would be fatal.
